RISE Introduction

Sponsored by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, the RISE (Rose in Science & Elite) initiative seeks to promote global scientific development and inspire young researchers and students, especially women, to pursue science careers. Launched in 2015 to commemorate the United Nations' International Year of Light, RISE enhances academic skills, fosters global collaboration, and celebrates scientific role models. Supported by Nobel laureates, tech leaders, and international organizations like IEEE, SPIE, Optica and ICO, RISE strives to empower the next generation of scientific leaders.
